And equally as sad is Susumu Yokota having passed away in March, apparently it took a while for the news to hit the industry. The first music of his I ever heard was “Sakura”, which is basically the last great album of the 90s. It was totally the weirdest thing I’d heard at the time, some parts of it were really beautiful and some parts of it were really bizarre. I’m a big fan of this guy so I’ll post some more music during the all star game tonight.

AFX - Analogue Bubblebath 5
“Analogue Bubblebath 5 is an unreleased EP by techno and IDM artist Richard D. James.
It was originally intended for release on James’ label, Rephlex Records.
In January 2005, Rephlex mailed out binder editions of Analord 10. Due to problems at the manufacturing/mail out stage, approximately 20 buyers did not receive their package. Rephlex mailed out a second batch in June 2005 to those who had not received their order. This second batch included a free copy of Analogue Bubblebath 5. This distribution of Analogue Bubblebath 5 was unannounced.
These test pressings are highly sought after and one of them reportedly sold on eBay for over $5,000 USD.”
